The layout is arranged so that recyclable streams are always the easiest option, helping customers make sustainable choices without extra effort.
We follow the general approach taken across East London boroughs, where residents and businesses are encouraged to separate dry mixed recycling from general waste, and to keep food, liquids and contaminated items out of recycling containers. Staff on site are trained to offer guidance on how best to separate waste and what can or cannot go into each bin, reducing contamination and improving the overall quality of materials sent for recycling.
Sustainable Rubbish Removal Area
